The Story of Xica and Pollo

The mascots of Gilytics

Xica

In the heart of the city of Barcelona, a pigeon became a symbol of resilience and direction. One night, we found her narrowly escaping a dog’s bite, and took her in to recover and named her Xica. Just a few days later, she took flight and joined a nearby flock of pigeons.

But Xica had other plans; she soon returned, showing a remarkable ability to navigate back to us. Through injuries and challenges, including an accident that left her temporarily grounded, Xica proved her strength and incredible sense of direction. Despite the odds, she always found her way home.

Now, Xica lives safely and happily with us, a testament to persistence and orientation. Her journey reflects the mission of Gilytics —resilient, precise, and always finding the optimal route. Like Xica, our solutions ensure the best paths for power lines, overcoming any obstacle along the way.

While Xica’s story may sound like a whimsical tale or an AI-generated narrative, it’s truly a factual account. This wonderful example showcases the unspoken connection that can exist between humans and animals, proving that powerful bonds don’t always require words.

Pollo

On a cold winter night a few years back,
a little baby pigeon was found on the ground.
He had fallen of its nest, its wing gone “crack”,
he was scared and cold, but it had been found.

Back home, we nursed him until it was strong,
some time passed, and he grew and grew.
Now he regales us daily with his song,
it always  goes something like: “COOOO”
